einstein discontinued
Friends,
I have made the decision to step in a new direction regarding director of If Einstein Had Married Me. The energy surrounding the film was just not conducive to the creative process. Also, independent film projects are great lessons no matter the outcome of the film. I am very grateful for this experience and meeting all of you. I don't want to lose touch with any of you because I am definitely preparing/attracting other projects at this time.
Currently other projects are pulling me in a new direction. Also, I have recently had a death in the family. I am going to be taking the next 2 weeks as a hiatus. I will still be available to contact kansasjeremy@yahoo.com
I know that for some of you this leaves some loose ends. However, if each of you would contact me and we will share ideas on my upcoming projects. This includes narrators and crew.
This is the end of a chapter, but not the end of a book.

actors/actresses here ye hear ye
I do appreciate every one's interest in the film. The casting call was under expectation. However, some of you have contacted me to express schedule conflicts. Here is my proposal.
RSVP for the next casting call by May 9. You can do this by emailing me at kansasjeremy@yahoo.com
Right now the casting call is pending approval of the date of May 17 - New Thought Community Church at 10AM. I am opening the call up to MALE or FEMALE actors/actresses ages 18 and up.
The following descriptions are fun and descriptive at the same time. There is a time to be serious and a time to have a little fun. I am just combining the two here.
We need you if you:
know/love/adore Jack Horkheimer - have his gravel voice as your computer start up sound...photoshopped yourself to sit next to him on the ring of Saturn
if you wrote a paper on Einstein's theory of relativity or compared his theory against the Newtonian view at the time or simply wear Einstein wigs on his birthday
sit around and talk to your friends about white holes - no this isn't the thing left in the sand when you remove your beer from its sand cozzie
wonder what's "out there" and how it effects here and now
meditate daily, have a subscription to spiritual cinema circle, find yourself jotting deep thoughts down just so that they don't have to rattle around in your head all week
have to constantly be called on your cell phone because you have once again befriended the planetarium manager to letting you stay 4 hours extra until dawn
dress in what's considered "clothes for the Kansas Department of Transportation's swatch list of road sign colors" (aka bright or glowing colors)
know what the exact burn time is of nag champa
hear William Shatner say "space the final frontier" and sing the instrumental portion
I will post a synopsis/why I am involved with the film at a later time.

casting call
I am looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow morning starting at 10AM. I will go as long as there are auditions.

ALL actors and narrators will need to sign an actor agreement. Please remember this independent film is a passion project of mine and no compensation will be given to actresses, narrators, or crew members.

- Acting resume - if you have none then I will provide applications on a first come first served basis (contact me if arrangements are needed)
Narrators:
- voice over resume if available
- voice over CDs or website portfolio of voices
- special narrator applications will be available if neither apply on a first come first served basis

3 actresses ages 20+ (I am not looking for male actors at this time)
Plot is being kept secretive at this time until cast members are selected. We are looking for several natural talents and leaving it up to you to show us your talent.
1 Narrator male/female all ages to read short introduction. This will involve some sound studio time. I will need to get with the selected narrator to arrange recording details.
I apologize if I have been slow to reply. We have been busy as the time gets closer and I have taken a short break earlier this week to spend some time for myself. I have learned that worrying and rushing don't get very fruitful results.
CHECK back to the blog. I may rely heavily on this. I appreciate every one's interest, well wishes, etc.

April 19 & 20, (if needed) 26 & 27 - principal photography
Post Prod. April 28th and beyond
NARRATORS/ACTRESSES
Contact me before April 11th if you need to audition ahead of time if the 12th does not work in your schedule.
Auditions after the casting call may not be considered. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Location - room must have power, good acoustics, and able to be decorated like a place women in their 30s would either live at or hang out at
Sound - boom operators needed. If you like to operate a boom mic contact me ASAP. Just like Uncle Sam says We need you.
Food - I need to get with Dave/Trudeau for food/water needs.
Good news! At this point I have just secured the music for the film and post production!!!

Let's go make a film that makes the audience go WOW instead of just hmm.
